Fiscalini Cheese Adds Savory Scotch Ale Cheddar To Farmstead Cheese Line
Fiscalini Cheese Company of Modesto, CA, has launched a new addition to its line of specialty cheeses: a savory Scotch Ale Cheddar named Hopscotch.
The label, which bears a Gold Medal insignia, shows a California Holstein dressed as a bagpiper in co-owner Heather Fiscalini’s Kerr family tartan.
Hopscotch will be available in retail stores and online this summer and fall.

Pasture-Grazed White Cheddar New From Black Creek
Black Creek Classic brand cheese has just introduced Pasture-Grazed White Cheddar, made from milk produced by family farmers in southwest Wisconsin.
The new Signature Edition Pasture-Grazed White Cheddar is available now through early October, based on pasture quality. 
“With the growth in consumer demand for naturally sourced food products, the introduction of Black Creek Pasture-Grazed Natural Cheese clearly responds to these preferences,” said Karen Endres, director of communications for Black Creek.
“The pasture grazed product has a unique flavor profile and rich, creamy texture that makes it a wonderful table cheese,” said Black Creek certified Master Cheesemaker Gregg Palubicki. “We’re very proud of its delicate, natural flavor as well as the superior nutritional value of the pasture-grazed milk we use in crafting it.”

Mayfield Launches Lowfat Milk With Probiotics
Mayfield Dairy Farms has announced the launch of Nurture – lowfat and reduced fat milk containing probiotic cultures to boost the body’s immune system.
More than 20 years ago, Mayfield created NuTrish, described as the first milk in the US to contain probiotic cultures. The Nurture line will replace NuTrish.

Kraft Launches Host Of New Cheese Products 
Kraft Foods has launched a host of new cheese products this year, including those designed for snacking, health and wellness, and premium taste.
For health and wellness, Kraft unveiled Breakstone’s and Knudsen LiveActive Cottage Cheese, with and without fruit. 
The company also launched Kraft LiveActive Cheese with Probiotics.

Cyprus Dairy Association To Showcase Traditional Kefalotyri & Graviera Goat, Sheep’s Milk Cheeses
The Cyprus Association for the Promotion of Milk Products is adding two traditional hard cheeses made from goat and sheep’s milk to its import lineup.

The Tillamook County Creamery Association (TCCA) has added a new Vintage White Medium Cheddar, naturally aged over 100 days, to its product lineup.
TCCA ages its White Cheddar 40 days longer than its Yellow Medium Cheddar, which gives the cheese and distinctive flavor and slightly different consistency, TCCA said.
According to TCCA marketing director Kathy Holstad, the timing was right to launch the product because consumers are looking for more unique flavors, textures and ingredients, regardless of color.

Seymour Dairy Products Introduce Line of Blue Cheese Reflecting European Heritage
Seymour Dairy Products, Inc., under its line Seymour Dairy Crest™ label has recently introduced four new Blue cheeses that the company says offer a traditional German, European flavor to the current US Blue Cheese market.

Melrose Park, IL—Wiscon Corporation recently announced the launch of Caputo Fresh Mozzarella Slices.

Berner Foods Launches Cholesterol-Free Cheeses
Berner Foods of Dakota, IL, is launching the first phase of its Earth’s Answer naturally cultured, cholesterol-free cheese line. 
Each item’s butterfat is replaced with vegetable oil to make the products 100 percent cholesterol-free, the company explained.

Park Cheese Co. debuted two new shredded cheese blends at the recent International Dairy-Deli-Bakery Association annual convention to rave reviews, the company said.

Springdale Cheese Factory's new Fuente del Valle™ specialty Hispanic cheese line is now available.
The line includes the following traditional Mexican-style favorites: Queso Blanco; Queso Fresco; Anejo Enchilado; Enchilado; Manchego; Cotija; and Queso Quesadilla. 
Available in 5-lb. loaves that can be packaged into 2-, 4- or 6-loaf boxes. Cotija is also available in mini-wheels weighing approximately 20 lbs., daisy wheels weighing approximately 22 lbs. or crumbled in 5-lb. bags.

Chipotle Is Latest Flavor In Cabot’s Line Of Cheddars
Chipotle is the latest flavor to be added in an extensive line of Cheddars manufactured by Cabot Creamery Cooperative, Inc. 
This newest addition to the Cabot line combines red Morita jalapeno chilies with Green Mountain Cheddar cheese.
It will be distributed nationally and is available in random weight sizes, including deli bars, prints and blocks.
