Pasture-Grazed White Cheddar New From Black Creek
Black Creek Classic brand cheese has just introduced Pasture-Grazed White Cheddar,
made from milk produced by family farmers in southwest Wisconsin.
The new Signature Edition Pasture-Grazed White Cheddar is available now through
early October, based on pasture quality.
“With the growth in consumer demand for naturally sourced food products,
the introduction of Black Creek Pasture-Grazed Natural Cheese clearly responds
to these preferences,” said Karen Endres, director of communications for
Black Creek.
“The pasture grazed product has a unique flavor profile and rich, creamy
texture that makes it a wonderful table cheese,” said Black Creek certified

Mayfield Dairy Farms has announced the launch of Nurture – lowfat and
reduced fat milk containing probiotic cultures to boost the body’s immune

Kraft Foods has launched a host of new cheese products this year, including those

Cyprus Dairy Association To Showcase Traditional Kefalotyri & Graviera

The Tillamook County Creamery Association (TCCA) has added a new Vintage
White Medium Cheddar, naturally aged over 100 days, to its product lineup.
TCCA ages its White Cheddar 40 days longer than its Yellow Medium Cheddar, which
gives the cheese and distinctive flavor and slightly different consistency, TCCA
said.
According to TCCA marketing director Kathy Holstad, the timing was right to launch
the product because consumers are looking for more unique flavors, textures and
ingredients, regardless of color.

Seymour Dairy Products Introduce Line of Blue Cheese Reflecting
European Heritage
Seymour Dairy Products, Inc., under its line Seymour Dairy Crest™ label
has recently introduced four new Blue cheeses that the company says offer a traditional
German, European flavor to the current US Blue Cheese market.
The Seymour Dairy Crest line includes Ader Käse, an original make, which

Borden Brings Out Kid Builder String Cheese, Li’l Snacks,

This year, Borden has created a number of new products for the dairy case,
including Kid Builder String Cheese Bites, Borden Li’L Snacks, Borden 2-ounce
snack bars and Borden Reduced Fat Shreds.
Borden Kid Builder String Cheese Bites are available in an 8-ounce bag with about
30 pieces of natural Mozzarella.

The vanilla ice cream is made with real ground vanilla bean.
The raspberry is made with rasp-
berry puree. No concentrates or artificial flavorings are added.
The Dutch processed cocoa used in the chocolate ice cream is created under organic
regulations, with alkali, to give a deeper flavor. The base ingredients are simply
cream, milk, sugar and egg yolk, the company said.
Straus’ ice creams will currently be carried by Whole Foods in the Pacific
region, Wild Oats in Southern California, as well as many independent grocery
stores on the west coast.

Springdale Cheese Factory's new Fuente del Valle™ specialty Hispanic
cheese line is now available.
The line includes the following traditional Mexican-style favorites: Queso Blanco;
Queso Fresco; Anejo Enchilado; Enchilado; Manchego; Cotija; and Queso Quesadilla.
Available in 5-lb. loaves that can be packaged into 2-, 4- or 6-loaf boxes. Cotija

Chipotle Is Latest Flavor In Cabot’s Line Of Cheddars
Chipotle is the latest flavor to be added in an extensive line of Cheddars

This newest addition to the Cabot line combines red Morita jalapeno chilies with
Green Mountain Cheddar cheese.
It will be distributed nationally and is available in random weight sizes, including
deli bars, prints and blocks.
